The Church is wherever God’s people are praising.
When we attend mass / church services, we often sing. Singing is part of our act of worship, to praise God.
To praise God is to say God is so good that he deserves our praise.
There will always be things and people we appreciate, we praise them because they have that special personality, habit or something about them that we want to praise them.
Reflect the following. If you are in a group, feel free to discuss.
What are the things you praise God about? |

Do you agree that a church faithful to God is filled with praising of God? |
Praising God in both good and hard times can be difficult. How can we praise God when you face difficulty individually? For example, sickness? |
As above question, how do you as a church praise God when you are facing difficulty? For example, upkeep of church building? |
Write a short statement as praise to God. |
Reflect on the statement from the above question, what does it tell others about God? |
Thinking about the gospel and how people are saved in Jesus – does your church actively look out for new people coming to your church and praise God for touching their lives? |

Thinking about people in your church, are there reasons you praise God for where he has restored relationships? |
Are there reasons you praise God for how he has prepared leaders in your church to be shepherds of the church? |
