Seek God

Morality is one that can be difficult to discuss – there is always specific conditions to take into account, and each has their own ways of dealing with moral issues, and that each might have different moral “standard” or “principles”.

What is interesting is when one refuses to be “found” by Jesus, they might say surely I am too far down the “bad” and “immoral” path that is beyond savable. Here lies morality conflict: if we understood the extreme of “badness” of morality, we can understand the other extreme of “goodness” of morality. Unable to accept Jesus’ invitation sounds like that the person has not fully grasped what really bad morality is, that understanding leads us to appreciate the other end of morality. Quite rightly that there is still a “tension”, apparently, within the person to struggle leaving the “bad” to grasp the “good”. But there will be an urge to want the good.

The difference is that Jesus is the way for that to happen, and his invitation is to all and everyone. Refusing or delaying Jesus’ invitation does not make sense, why wait and ponder – wait for one, and ponder for whom?

PicEqually, when we – with Jesus’ help – let loose of the “bad” morality, we begin to acquire a new set of moral, our actions, what and how we speak, etc. will become more and more like Jesus.

Do we have moral conflicts?
