Music discipleship

Question: How does Music Discipleship relate to grade exams or such other syllabi from other providers?

The key thing is that Music Discipleship (MD) is not the usual kind of “examination syllabus”. It’s best to start from the main “Salt & Light Discipleship” (SLD, see this). MD is part of SLD.

SLD is not a ‘syllabus’. In most churches, it will be much more a small-group effort, and it might be best to take a step at a time rather than decide the plan right from the start. They might regard it important to take time to pray about it, develop, share progress with others in the small group, reflect on challenges and perhaps even share their experience with those outside of their group as a way to grow in their faith.

In the way that SLD is not a syllabus, MD is also not a syllabus. On the specific of music activities that you do as part of MD, again, this is largely dependent on the theme / focus area in your SLD, which then guides your activities and focus areas in your MD.
