This café is famous for its breakfast. It’s the only food place that opens 8am every weekday.
Some years back, after changing jobs, I had to spend hours driving to and from work. I decided that for some days I would stay in budget hotels or hostels so to save on the driving. The only place that you can get breakfast at 6am is a major international quick food outlet.

This café that’s famous for its breakfast, also serves main dishes. We tried ordering a ‘dinner’ number and were astonished they served it in 5 minutes, and so we had lunch at 10am.
Most of the customers come in twos or threes, some are one or two adults with one, two or even three young ones. Low proportion are those who come on their own. The tables are so near to each other you cannot ignore others or be ignored. In fact you had to go to the cashier to order your food. The ambience is such that it’s not a place you embrace solitude. The buses coming past in front of the café makes the chatters in and across tables in the café a more welcoming option. So you tend to stay on longer. There are in fact two of this café in this east part of town, surprisingly, they are only 5 minutes walk apart. Another interesting thing is that you barely find car parks around either of them. However they get so many customers, mainly from the local residents or those using the bus.
