love VISIBLE

Can love be seen? Of course, in our actions.

LOVE visible

Can love be ignored though visible?

In the worship song See His Love, the first visual is Jesus being nailed to the cross for all of us. The next thing is a “perfect and blameless” life – this might not be immediately apparent about Jesus, since it is something about attaining a “quality”, and maintaining that quality over time. For it to be visualised, the visualiser needs to visualise it over time. The visual comes in the fact that this life is given as sacrifice for all of us.

This sacrifice, rather than a defeat or damnation, in fact is the ultimate completion, of all that is good and perfect. The word is glory. Death is null and void, the new life in Jesus is beyond life and death. This new life is given to us.

Jesus Culture brings the truth of this to us in this song in such a powerful manner that can make us turn it off, walk away, or totally immersed in it. Their rendition in See His Love is a subjective response. That is our response, it is our own response to seeing His love.
