Lost, confused, crushed, washed up.
He says you are precious to him. There’s nothing to fear. Do not be afraid about that.
Be sure of who he is – faithful, and truthful. No need to doubt or fear, about yourself, about him your God.
Because he has already saved you. Do not be afraid about that.
You will keep making mistakes , errors and falure, but that does not stop him loving you, nor you loving him.
The point is not the mistakes, errors and failure, the point is that he loves you in spite of.
Your response should be wanting to make fewer mistakes, errors and failure, but that’s beside the point, we will never remove those things. Do not be afraid about that – we are completely sure that he loves us.
It sounds like unconditional love. We can argue hard and long about what that means; I don’t think we really understand that. I’m sure some will not agree to this idea of unconditional love.
There are times when I kept myself awake rehearsing imaginary things in my thoughts; I was not concerned about things in my imagination. But what really mattered is the underlying concern or worry. I should learn to share it honestly with God and that will be a release.
